Let's see. We have harden scoring all these points while barely in the race for the playoffs. We have morey who has traded over the years multiple 1st round draft picks and players to finally wind up with a decling point guard who plays half the time and a contract that will destroy us for the next 4 years. Maybe we should trade harden now since we can get value for him and prepare for the future. Maybe trade him and cp3 together to the team with the 1st pick in draft. Get back 1st pick and their top young player. With 1st pick , take Zion. We would have young new team with great cap space.
And how can you assure that you will get Zion? Ping Pong balls are random. That is the problem. Tanking does NOTHING. You can end up with a good player.........a good pro, but not an ELITE player. No team that WINS the lottery is trading for Harden AND CP3...lol.
how do you even trade for the 1st pick? how sure are you the team you trade with gets the first pick? from there who do you surround zion with to ensure a chip? and in how many years do you think rockets are guaranteed a championship with zion leading them?
The goal of Morey right now should be doing everything he can to keep from having to trade Harden. Not trading Harden. The way this season has gone, this unfortunately has to be something that could become a reality if they don’t fix this craptastic supporting roster.

As far as regular season is concerned, I think Harden is all time top 20. His MVP share per season as a starer ranks 3rd all time, just behind MJ and Lebron. I Know most of you don't care or watch regular season games, but I do. As for playoffs, he did decline a little bit to all time top 50, but still he is the second best Rocket of all time.
