Long layoffs are a serious issue with the Rockets. They just suck after resting too long.

 

I do feel you man. I just don't trust the nba to even give Rockets a chance to come back in this 2nd half. Rockets needed to play disciplined this first half... too many stupid turnovers.

 

q3 gonna be critical, if we win q3, we win this game..if we lose q3 then see you in game 4...

One of the worst halves in the playoffs. Fortunate to only be down 11. Need a 3rd quarter run!

 

we are a rhythm team. those days off didn't do us any good. it took us about 4 games to get our groove back in the first round after 2 weeks of meaningless games.

however, imagine if we took care of the ball and were more tuned on offense (movement, cuts, etc...) we'd be winning this game and this should be the warriors best punch!

we can win this one if we play our best in the second half...

 

Yea, and then the dreaded 3rd quarter will come. If the Rockets don’t show up this game will be over before the 4th quarter.

 

CP3 not quite himself. Heck, no one is. Maybe try some Road Rhyno. This ain’t looking good.

 

Rockets got 9 turn overs vs Warriors' 4. Rockets need to get to the offense much faster!

 

This game shows we are just not mentally focused enough, we can easily be up but just couldn't maintajn our composure and make those turnovers after turnovers

 

I want to see Ryno too, but I think this might be a "can't play Kanter" type scenario

 

Pretty much all trash that half and down only 11. Too many turnovers, way too many missed shots. If the warriors were playing well, I’d say we are in a fortunate position. The problem is they will probably come out hot in Q3, and I’m not sure if we can buckle down. We just need to calm down and revert to game 2 ball movement, this looks like game 1 but worse bc they are playing frantically. Remember, just need 1 of these 2 in Oracle

 

Refs have so much control over the game its crazy.

Three plays that stand out.

1) Mbah moute getting “blocked” at the rim. Looney got all of his arm. No call, layup the other way
2) Harden catching curry with his hand in the cookie jar and throwing up the shot. No call, layup the other way
3) Klay’s “block” on cp3.

I counted two legit blown layups.
- Harden after he crossed jordan bell
- Pj on the fast break

 

the warriors are known for the big 3rd quarter runs. they're the best in the league in the 3rd

 

People need to stop blaming the refs. The Rockets are not as focused as they should be with this game.

 

Stupid reply, take his @SS out and remind him of his focking role, Gordon isn't a superstar, he's a super role player. Dude tryna make plays he know he isn't capable of doing

 

Yes people, we have missed some wide open layups...but not 11. I guarantee you they were hacked on at least 5 of those 11 for no call.

They need to adjust at the half. They are being run off the three point line so going to the rim, where they are being hacked. They either need to switch to taking midrange shots like they did against the Jazz or just firing away from 3 anyway like they did in Game 2.

 

I want to know what the **** we are practicing. They played like this is preseason.
