ESPN’s Royce Young: Harden Is Ruining Pro Sports/Stepback Should Be Banned

Guards on All-NBA teams that year:

Curry, Westbrook
Paul, Lillard
Thompson, Lowry

Who would you have removed? I think Lillard is most questionable. His team only had 44 wins, so I’m surprised he made 2nd team that year.

 

Where did he say he wants to change the rule? From the podcast linked to in the OP, he already thinks what Harden is doing is a travel. He claims he changes his pivot feet in a manner that is against the rules.

You can fault him for not understanding how the rules apply. But he didn’t say (at least not in that clip) that new rules should be adopted to constrain Harden.

When have we had a superstar that got his proper respect? You can say the dream but the year after we won the title they gave the MVP to Robinson. Harden should have one it at least 1 of the past 2 years if not both. Let these fools hate. I love every minute of it. They can hate all they want and change all the rules they want and still cant stop us.

 

IN 2016 Harden led all 2 guards in PER, MINUTES PLAYED, VORP, WIN SHARES, BOX PLUS MINUS, AND AVERAGED 29/7/6/2. ONLY 4 PLAYERS PRIOR TO THAT SEASON HAVE PUT UP THAT STATLINE

JOHN HAVLACHEK.... 1ST TEAM ALLNBA
LEBRON... MVP OF THE NBA.. AND 1ST TEAM ALLNBA

AND OSCAR WHO WAS ALSO 1ST TEAM ALLNBA


HARDEN SHOULD HAVE BEEN ON THE 2ND TEAM THAT YEAR.. EASILY

I honestly didn’t care about it that year. That was like a lost season. If he made it, great. If not, it didn’t matter. If anything, he could use the snub to come back better the next season, which is what happened.

lol the after that "disappointing" season where the rockets went 41-41, the rockets were picked to finish in the 9th spot the next year without mchale and dwight, and got laughed at for adding eric gordon and ryan anderson as free-agents. Many in the media thought the dantoni and harden pairing would be a failure lol. Indtead what happened is that Harden led the rockets to the 3rd best record in the NBA. And harden had a 2,000/2,000 SEASON and was still robbed of mvp.. They had to set a new precedent and give the award to a statpadder from a 6th seed team lol.

 

fwiw.... Ironically, of the 22 'expert predictions' for the Hou/GSW series, Royce Young is 1 of only 3 who pick the Rox to beat GSW...

The way they displayed themselves in the playoffs, I would lean toward GSW too if not for that HC advantage.

That way if the Rockets lose, then they didnt live up to expectations and thus Young can pounce on them.

 

Funny thing too is that those 3 who were pro Rockets also voted for the Cavs.....and did not vote for the 'Boston Celtics' underdog team.

Really hoping extra-ly Rockets win this series.

Don't mind people giving their opinions, but when they're hate-driven it makes me wish ill will on them. Like, I actually hope something bad happens to them.

 

For all the Harden hate he spewed on on him he picked us over the Warriors. Lol the ironing.
