Even if they got past LeBron I wouldn't put them past this Celtics team. No one on that Toronto team looks like they have the mental or testicular fortitude to lead that team to the top
if? toronto is done. lebron losing 4 straight times to a team he easily owns year after year. not happening toronto's biggest mistake thinking they could just keep the same exact core and the results be any different. no, role players aren't lifting that ceiling. significant changes definitely need to be made at this point, by either adding a true impact player or just breaking up the dd/lowry pairing. who knows, they may even make casey the scapegoat change. if nothing happens then they're just content on being a good regular season team and not serious about trying to win a title. if that's their mo then so be it
I can only assume that Raptors fans are feeling the same way I felt after that Pujols homer right now. I can't even imagine. Hope it's not us in a couple of weeks.
They're getting swept under the rug. Time to have a murry obsession moment and do nothing but think about stopping Bron all off season
They are stuck like chuck with that roster. They got almost $80 million combined invested in Lowry, Derozan and Ibaka.
They're good but if Boston's roster is relatively healthy and Ben Simmons manages to add some sort of perimeter shooting to his game, they'd be at best 3rd in the East next year. That might be okay for the owners of the Raptors as they're in a slightly different market but it'll be like running on a very expensive and fancy treadmill.
I was thinking, the Raptors have won 7 of 8 games without Kawhi. They will barely miss a beat with Valanciunas out for a month, I'm sure. Meanwhile the Rockets go from 65 wins to 35 wins, and people think it's because we swapped Ariza/Moute with Ennis lol. Our leaders (from owners down to superstars) have been so disappointing.
