Everyone is looking at this with homer glasses. It was mild heckling. Harden shouldn't let that get in his head. Just walk past it. He should have better composure.

Those officers's excuse of the fan being out of his seat so it's okay for Harden to hit his phone is stupid. The fan is allowed to be up to the barrier and wasn't saying anything obscene to Harden.

    p***y move.

    * Fan makes a big point of purposely moving to antagonize NBA star on his home court
    * NBA star responds with slightest possible physicality
    * Fan whines to cops in Mickey Mouse voice: "I was back there! He just hit my phone!"

    Like I said, p***y move.

Concrete video evidences that harden hit his target while WB can't hit a thing.

not like they were wrong. it wouldn't have happened if he was in his actual seat and not out of place. but he wanted to make it a point & get in harden's face so he put himself in that position

these type of "fans" get what they deserve. they think they can do what they want and be disrespectful to players faces and nothing happen. reality check

Harden didn't chase him around the outside of the T-center! Come on man.

He burned like 1 calorie on that swipe tbh.

Harden is still focused or locked in as you said.

TC is barely half full and you've got people heckling the MVP.

Easily the most embarrassing "home-court" of all-time.

He leaned way over the barrier. Felt protected by all the cameras. Sounded like a whiney child when confronted by security.

This is the way I see it. Players should't react and risk litigation by making contact, but irrespective of where you are, jamming your phone in someone's face and taunting them is going to be rightfully seen as harassment.

First cop's response is the best.

Cop: Get back to your seat.
Fan (crying): He hit my phone!!!
Cop: I'll hit you my dayum self.

Is this before or after the OP's video?

Love how in the OP's video the guy says to the cops immediately like a pus "I was back here. He slapped my phone."
