Rockets losing 7 of 9 had very little to do with Tucker in the first place. The salary cap is 100+ mill and Tucker's only making 7M a year. Why are you expecting him to play great when he is making so little? If the Rockets are losing it is the fault of some other dude making a lot of money but playing like a scrub (usually Ryan Anderson).
I kept saying this, people kept trumping up Anderson's "spacing" when there is no evidence his spacing is so much better than Luc's, Tucker's or Ariza's. Those guys+Green should be ahead of Anderson since they are superior defensively and also more consistent than Anderson (shoots closer to their average than Anderson who has extreme shooting highs and slumps).
He is a factor on the court even if he doesn't score, he does the small things that don't show up on the stats sheet, could end up one of most significant signings during the off-season if we go far in the playoffs.
PJ is a badass. He's exactly what we needed at the 4 spot: a tough and versatile defender that can hit threes. Toronto fans loved him and so do we. What's not to love?
Glad we got this guy. Regardless of what you think of PJ Tucker he's and big part of our team and will be a big part of us hopefully getting that trophy in the summer.
I liked pj when he was with the suns, he knew how to get to harden even though harden scored on him like that buzzer beater but the dude never stopped guarding him. I also liked green which I believe they were teammates, unless I’m mistaken. I liked it when Morey signed Pj tucker, Luc and Green. Ofc Cp3 too but without Cp3 we wouldn’t have gotten pj or Luc. It was good bcoz they brought the defense and this way Ariza didn’t have to do all the hard defensive assignments. This has kept Ariza more fresh and once Luc comes back we will have everyone and keep our defense all game long.
4th best player on the team to be honest. EG's been hot trash in comparison. When he's knocking down 3's we're damn near unbeatable.
