Last night, Capela was wearing a t shirt with his nickname,in Chinese,on it during the post game interview.

Our flying big man is celebrating team win with his new nickname as "Cookie King" or "King Of Cookie Eating Men".

For those fans who don't read Chinese or didn't know about history of Capala's nickname, now becomes official,
The Chinese (饼皇) on T shirt reads "Cookie King".
This nickname first came out in the circle of NBA fans in China when 17-18 season started, CP3 and James have been feeding the balls to our young star around the rim like crazy, and Clint Capela finishes them with either dunks or skillful layups, it just likes Capela is able to finish the ball as easily as eating a cookie, esp, being fed from our two league assist leading backcourts. Capela shows he is the best center in this league who can catch and finish, better than anybody.so fans in China started calling him "Cookie King" and PS some funny ones for it.

Until recently, Capela opens his Chinese twitter site and start call himself as "饼皇" while he further establishs himself as one of the best center today. we all like to see our young rising star adopt a nickname with "King" in it!
Here comes newly crowned Cookie King! Let's keep it going!

English translation of "饼皇" is TBD, Pancakes, Cookies are all kind of "饼".

Ok, basically, that's a nick name Chinese posters gave him. Something along the line king of lay-in-s, what Shaq has said about him.

Thats awesome. Shaq still needs to come around. He sounds bitter talking about the easy buckets, but it's not Capela fault that he has two amazing guards that constantly feed him tremendus shots opportunities and Shaq had to bully himself against people to get baskets.

Yep, the article quoted him saying he was referred to as Pancake King. He didn't know what pancakes were, described it as a kind of a crepe.
