I didn’t know they still made Taurus’ up until now. Who dafuq would drive a car called a Fiesta? Never heard of a Fusion.

    Smart move.

Makes perfect sense: focus on "mini-suv's", mid-sized suv's, truck-frame suv's, and actual trucks.

They do a great job at those, dance with them that brung ya.

The Fusion was doing great, I thought.

Kind of weird to think they won't be selling any sedans at all.

I get thinning them out, four seemed like too many, but could have kept one at least.

Guess ford's giving up on fleet sedan sales in the police interceptor taurus too.

Interesting, I’m actually really close to pulling the trigger on an MKZ or Continental.

if you remember the taurus from the early 2000's - thats basically what the fusion is now and the taurus became their "affordable luxury" sedan.

crazy that they are saying they dont sell sedans. i see fusions and focuses everywhere. seems like they could have phased out all but those two and the mustang. i think the margins are lower on sedans and that probably has something to do with it too. aside from my first car ive only driven ford sedans. i have a focus now that im totally happy with (for the price) and had a taurus from 2003-2011 - best car i ever owned.

OH I will never forget. Buddy of mine had black one in the 90's. He got constant **** because we were young and his car was a Probe.

I've driven those cars as rentals and they're middling (quality, extra features, reliability, efficiency, acceleration per class) in everything except stereo sound quality and some interior aspects. With the mustang, you can at least feel or hear the power, which is at least different than other sedans outclassing them. That's not to say they were all terrible cars, but the bar is pretty high across the board.

It's weird they're even getting beat by the Koreans because Ford is doing alright in the small mid-size sedan market in Europe.

I'll be curious to see how well the hybrid F-150 performs. I'll be back in the market in a couple of years (have a 2012 now and might ride it until my son turns 16).

Probably the right move, but if gas prices spike they might be hit harder than they otherwise would have.

When is the Bronco coming back? And weren't they bringing back the Ranger?

Same here on the Taurus. The Fiesta is a cheap car, basically their version of the Honda Fit.

Surprised you haven't heard of the Fusion. It was their Accord/Camry.
