theyre better off without him...its a guards league..sign him than trade for picks and solid role players
Seems like drexlerfan was right, the Blazers have a legit big 3. Kudos to NOLA, didn't expect them to be up 2 games in this way. And Leonard
My Blazers have **** the bed. I really thought this would be a fun and competitive series. Cue the sad trombone sound effects... haha I'm putting this on Terry Stotts. He's such a good dude, that it is hard to hate him, but he has no gameplan for teams doubling Dame on the pick and roll in the playoffs. And every team has done the same thing against him in the playoffs for 5 straight years. That's on the coach. Figure out some players to run that take advantage of that. Also, Nurk scored easy and blocked shots. Better give him only 15 minutes........ Better luck to you guys. Rant over. Peace.
Blazers were playing the Pels no matter what happened in the last game against Utah. The only difference is it would have been in the 4-5 slot rather than the 3-6.
Might be just a bad match up...? I wonder how the series went in regular season...? On paper Holiday and Rondo are perfect to guard Lillard and CJ, Davis is going to win the match up with Nurkic of course but that's not a big deal, it's expected. Problem is Holiday and Rondo are also doing whatever they want on offense, that's probably the biggest issue for your team...
I was one of those that thought the Blazers could give GS a series, but I’m eating crow and jumping on the NOLA bandwagon. Can the Pels give the W’s legit trouble in the next round? If they manage to sweep the Blazers they’ll at least be going into that series on a hell of a hot streak.
No chance. Expect a warriors sweep or 4-1. Curry always goes off vs Pels. Hell Warriors can even handle Pels without curry tbh. Durant is going to feast on Pels wings given that’s their weak link.
Man, Pels playing the Blazers like they do us. Never missing. Shot 51% from the field and 50% from three. Yikes.
I'm starting to feel that way too. I wanted the Pelicans more than any other team(aside from the Nuggets who couldn't finish 8th regardless), but now I'm pretty glad we avoided them. We would've beaten them, but when they're playing like this, they are a tough out. We would've had no answer for Davis, and Jrue and Rondo would've made life miserable defensively for Harden and CP3. I'm not sure what's gonna happen between the Warriors and Pelicans if they meet up in the second round, but I don't think New Orleans will be an easy opponent for Golden State. Especially if Curry is far from 100%.
