Nuggets wont make it. I think you biased your poll results by including them. Twolves would be my choice from the rest.

If Curry is out the 1st round you DEFINITELY want OKC playing GS. Those fools will play their hearts out like never before and could legitimately upset them.

Capela is good when he is confident. When he is roughed up, Tucker has to work overtime at the 5, which is not fair to him. Clint is no young and upcoming KG. He doesn't have that talent and skill.

The good thing that I saw in this Pelicans game, is that he didn't back down. He has to do that in every game, in order for us to have a chance to win.

You're right, but it sure would look good to beat the Spurs with Kawhi on the way to an NBA Championship. Sure, the media will say, he wasn't ready. Bayless will start bawling.:)

I wouldn't mind okc getting the 7th seed for the same reason.

Golden St. is who I would like to face in the 1st round. Although this is not an option, I'd rather cut to the chase and get on with it now. Both teams have some late season injuries and chances are maybe multiple people from both sides are not 100%.

I don't think you are a real rockets fan by the way you talk..how could you stand others talking shxt to your own team? well maybe you are just a emotionless human being..or i'm an emotional fan..the best way to shut them up is to beat those so-called elite teams in front of us.

At this rate I think Denver and LAC are out. I am rooting to play either the Wolves or Jazz in the 1st round. Don't want to see the Spurs or Thunder in the 1st round. If they see them in the 2nd round, so be it.

Ultimately, it is not about any specific opponent as much as, which opponent in the 1st round can the Rockets get by with exerting the least energy. It is the long play.

Wait, so I'm not a real Rockets fan because I don't listen to what talking heads say? That's great logic right there. Do you judge your own personal success by the opinion of others?

Either way, no reason to quarrel here. The point is that I rather play a team that wouldn't wear us down, so that we can take down the Warriors and win a chip.

I'd like to see the Clippers get in and pound them so badly that they all give up basketball and start selling used cars. Or maybe working for that State Farm guy.

Overall, I would like to see GS have to play 12+ games before the WCF, and I would like us to only have to play 9 or 10.

    Order of priority for me:
    OKC in the 7th seed
    POR in the 3rd seed

I honestly don't care who is in the 8th seed, but I would rank them as follows:
SA (I really want to sweep them, max pain for Pop)
    DEN
    MIN
    UTH
    NOR

Overall list that I like right now:
    1. HOU
    2. GS
    3. POR
    4. MIN
    5. NOR
    6. UTH
    7. OKC
    8. SA

    Spurs, w/ Kawhai back.

I'd love to eliminate last year's narrative, no matter how difficult.

Pelicans... it'll feel like homecourt when half of houston drives to new orleans to crash their stadium. Who on earth wants to go to utah?

    T-Wolves are 6-6 (W-L) since Butler injury (.500)
Denver is 18-12 in last 30 games (.600)....7–6 since Millsap return but 5-3 in last 8 games (.625)
Utah is 24-6 in last 30 games (.800)
OKC is 22-10 in last 32 games (.687)

So you see why I would like T-Wolves in first round.

After looking at the schedules I have T-Wolves going 4-4 finishing 46-36
Jazz going 6-3 and finishing at 47-35
OKC has a brutal schedule and goes 5-3 and finishing at 48-34
Denver goes 5-4 and finishes 45-37

It would be T-Wolves vs Houston in first round. Maybe Denver puts it together and gets one extra
win and finishes tied with T-Wolves. Who has the tie-breaker?

TWolves don't shoot enough threes to beat the Rockets.

They are intent on punishing the Rockets on inside with Kat which I do not think is the way to beat Houston.

    cont’d from post #55

    4 seed) San Antonio
    5 seed) OKC
    6 seed) Utah
    7 seed) Pels
8 seed) T-Wolves (Denver is more deserving.....but needs to overcome the tougher schedule)

    No doubt.

Even if Butler was healthy the Rockets would dominate. Not enough depth, talent, and skill.
    4-0 or 4-1 gentlemen’s sweep.

    Go Rockets!!

    Timberwolves
    Nuggets
    Pelicans
    Spurs
    Jazz

(Wolves far & away, then Nuggets I guess? No thanks to New Orleans, San Antonio & Utah)

What worries you about the T-Wolves J.R.?

    Roster minus Butler:
    KAT
    Teague
    Dieng
    Gibson
    Wiggins
    Cole Aldrich
    Jamal Crawford
    Bjelica
    Aaron Brooks
    Tyrus Jones
    D-Rose

Other than KAT, they have nothing....what am I missing? D-Rose will get points if the Rockets allow
him to get points. Wiggins is too busy whining about being 3rd or 4th option to have chemistry
with his teammates....won’t matter even if he gets his mind right. Just curious as to what you think
