you’re reaching with this...Harden’s play took a big hit after the wrist injury, and he was barely holding on to the MVP award to begin before he started slowing down...also, everyone knew that if Russ managed to average a triple double he would win no matter what Harden did since the media was obsessed with averaging at least 10 in 3 different statistical categories and gave no fcks about wins

his play has not fallen off as dramatically as it did last year, and the race is not close...matter of fact, it’s been a wrap for weeks and everybody in the media has acknowledged it

there is no Russ to compete with Harden this year...it’s Harden and then the rest of the competition 10 blocks behind him trying to catch up

So, by your logic, IF you won against us in a few days, your team is superior, correct?

I guess if Dallas beats us, they're better, too

The numbers, player talent, depth and the MVP of the league are things you cannot dispute.

You have a formidable backcourt. Dame is great. But, he's not in the same breath, let alone fart, as James Harden.

CJ is very talented. But, if Eric Gordon had the same minutes and role as the #2 guy, he would have the same (actually, better numbers).

Your team has played well this year. Good for you. Mediocrity has been part of the Portland legacy for awhile.

But don't kid yourself. The Blazers are not a threat to the Rockets' title run. I don't care if you win in Rip city this week. The Blazers are not going to make more than a slight mention this year. I'd wager that right now is the mention. You just can't win with Dame doing it all and CJ playing second fiddle. If Bradley Beal were on your team, it might be different.

So, please, stop trolling and learn how to honestly assess your team. We're allowed to gloat a bit...our record allows that. We have the one player in the NBA that no one--not even your Blazers--can contain. We also have an offense that not one team--not even Golden State---can stop.

As for you, you still live in a time where Dame's lucky shot matters.. congrats. You;re welcome for Jeremy Lin gifting you two games . Either way, you got spanked the next round, so why all the fuss?

Is it because you had years of gloom in the bust called Oden? Brandon Roy couldn't be your Kobe? Just enjoy that Dame and CJ are s modern, albeit a bit more efficient versions of Steve Francis and Cuttino Mobley.

3rd place has given you some internet muscles. Enjoy them until you likely finish in 5th or 6th.

has there been any update or mention of harden's hand? i'm almost of the opinion that we start resting harden and cp3 now through the end of the season - maybe have them alternate games. don't want them getting out of rhythm but rest is needed.

This dude's not going to bring up the 2009 series for fear that it hurts his narrative. Dude likes living in the past.

Or we clinch the best record ASAP and then rest them. I don't expect a win in Portland, but the magic number is now 9 and the Rockets have a relatively easy 5-game homestand coming up. Get this thing wrapped up.

The internet is great, but it doesn't show who you're communicating with.

    This is child's play.

Your best response involved "bruh" and "choker."

It's a school night. Make sure you pack your lunch before bed.

i mostly agree w you but if harden has even a slight injury i sit him against portland 100%...it'll be a tough game even w him but absolutely zero reason to risk it this late in the season.

Pretty hilarious when this one shot is all you have to get excited about in the last 40 years (since 1977)
Edged us out on last second shot and promptly got punked by the Spurs in 5 games.
But hey, remember the BIG SHOT!

Green isn't an 11th man role player. He's important to this team. And he was important to the game, at that time. I'm not sure why you keep going to the extreme end of the spectrum.

What Dieng did today doesn't even come close to what the Warriors would have done. Paul even strongly embellished the slight tap that Dieng gave, causing Green to overreact.

Just like Green, you're not thinking clearly.

Didn’t harden score 48 on Lillard in Portland the last time we played up there including 18 inarow in the last 4 minutes?
