That’s the only way Dantoni will stop playing him. It’s on Morey.

It's not a nitpick when the dude went -15 in 14 minutes.

A nitpick would be like a single Harden play .

Was it nitpicking when JJ was our worst player on the floor in the Toronto game ?

bottomline, JJ is overrated and way past his prime. If he's struggling, MDA need to consider giving Green some minutes.

    Stop it.

This team is trying to win a championship. If finishing with the one seed was the ultimate goal then Johnson being in the rotation probably isn’t that big of a deal.

But we are trying to get to and win the finals which probably means going through one of the most talented teams of all time in GSW.

It’s not nit picking. It’s projecting and wanting the team to give themselves the best shot possible to be the last team standing when the season is over.

and the best chance possible is give your roster some playing time to mesh with the team. Joe Johnson has barely played with the team. He needs minutes on the floor to start to build some chemistry and feel. If we lose a wing to injury, he will have to play minutes. IMPORTANT MINUTES.

Its lame AF to nitpick the 3rd string and whine and b**** about it like something is wrong. Nothing is wrong. Hes never played with these players before, and was already having a down season of injuries before. Let the man play some minutes. Anderson was out for a long time. Thats why johnson got even more run.

single game +/- is the dumbest stat to look at for insight

moute was -12 in this one. And no one is calling for him to lose minutes. Because that would be dumb.

We're winning. Keep getting Joe looks. It's extremely frustrating to watch, but Green Team Green has proven he can come off 5 months rest and light it up

    This. This. This.

Bringing up the plus/minus for a third string guy is like saying we'd get blown out with him playing starter minutes. Brilliant.

JJ as an investment in the regular season is a luxury we can afford to have. So what if he loses one game. Take win streaks for what they are...to build up padding for a great seed. Now we have a solid foothold, what's beyond that?

People were complaining about fixed rotations and mda not being like pop, who plays scrubs and past prime players early and often only to have them step up against us in crucial moments.

Maybe jj is too old. Maybe he can't do anything else. Well this is the time to find out! Unless it's a cakewalk, he's going to get minutes in the playoffs whether people like it or not.

Clutch babies in panic mode SMH...

I do think it was a good idea to kick the tires but it just isn't working. Now was a good time to do it but Joe just doesn't make us better. Bring back Green.

I say we keep playing Joe Johnson we need key players fresh for the play offs. If he still doesn’t figure it out come the play offs... then glue him to the bench!

How many games does it take to mesh? Joe has been here for 12 games already. Didn't Green light up the Worriers for like 30 shortly after being signed?

I'm hoping he is the Rockets version of the Astros' Carlos Beltran.

You think 12 games is enough for a player to mesh with a new team after coming in out of shape? Ok then...

That argument falls flat when there is a player on the roster that came in and meshed with the team in less time than that and was even further removed from nba action.

Your argument falls flat considering GG hasn't actually meshed well with the team. He still...
    - Looks completely lost on D
    - Chucks up a lot of bad shots
    - Chucks up too many midrange shots (even 1 is too many for him)
    - Is out of position on offense at least once every time he plays

It's easy for people who don't know any better to feel that GG is completed meshed with the team when all he does is come in and shoots on a team that is designed to give shooters open shots, especially when they have a quick trigger. If you actually look deeper in to the game however, GG is a pretty shitty player that gets by on hustle and a team that amplifies his strengths.

JJ on the other hand, the team is trying to LEARN how to fit him in as an integral piece of the offense where we can actually generate plays through him, all while he tries to get back into game shape.

I am not wrong and it's sad that you can't see it and choose to double down on stupid instead.

Anyone with half a brain can see how simple GG's game is and the fact that what he offers to team is limited, just like anyone with a speck of a brain can easily see how he is almost always out of position on D. People like him because he has a feel good story and is a good shooter with a quick trigger and plays with heart, but as a vet support player that the team wants to count on, brain >>>>> heart.
