[UNOFFICIAL] Texans off-season thread

Trumaine Johnsons is a very good corner. You would have been happy if he was here. I like Duane but the Texans wanted him here. He didn't want to be here. The only thing I fault them was not having a contingency plan; they assumed he was eventually going to rejoin the team.

We don't know why Brown was sitting out. People just assumed it was about guaranteeing his contract. He has since said it wasn't all about the money. His issues with the owner stems from the previous season when he wanted a press conference to explain his protests.

 

Avg cheap OL.

Although if Henderson can keep from getting suspended he's a great value. I also like Fulton. If the OL stays healthy with these guys and they hit on a OT in the draft. The OL should be much improved. This can be done and is the 1st real test for Gaine as GM.

 

Also brown was upset because the team did not have his back during the suspention appeal.

The fact that he's brought up the "budget" twice now when asked about him makes me think there's no chance we get him.
