Do these people even do research. Jalen Rose said if Rockets get homecourt then that's a problem for the Warrios. Then Paul Piece replied that the Rockets had the decisive game last year against San Antonio and blew it. Ughhh, San Antonio had home court advantage.
Rockets have 17 games left....Warriors have 15 games left Even if Warriors go 15-0, Rockets would still be the 1 seed if they finish 15-2 Warriors still have to play @ Spurs, @ Thunder, vs. Pelicans, vs. Bucks, two games vs. Jazz, and 2 games vs. Pacers Rockets still have to play Spurs/Pelicans/Blazers twice each, vs. OKC, vs. LAC, @ MIN, and vs. WASH I think Warriors will go 12-3 and Rockets will go 14-3
I just checked the Wolves-Warriors score and Minny actually came through! HCA in the WCF is gonna be HUGE.
So true. It’s a bogus notion that the Warriors don’t need home court advantage. Many would say the Warriors had opposing point guards go down injured; allowing for an easy run in 14/15 playoffs. I would say home court advantage was a plus as well. This year teams challenging them have more wings to match them. Home court will be a must.
I think what he was saying is that game 6 was a do or die(decisive) for Houston and they lost at home.......
Hate Harden being out tonight now. Would be an absolutely brutal one to drop with Minnesota beating Golden State earlier. Hopefully the squad pulls it out.
Kerr knows his bench sucks, when you're relying on Nick Young and Omri Casspi for quality minutes you gotta coach your ass off.
GSW has been lying all season. They don't care about the Rockets. but Kerr tweets about Harden GSW players asking unsolicited questions about the Rockets record. Now GSW says they don't care about the #1 seed. Well rest everyone then. let the Rockets have it.
Big difference though in playing at home down 3 games to 2 with one still left on the road and playing an all of nothing game #7 at home. Mentality for both teams is completely different
The point was that the Rockets had the decided advantage that game... both with Leonard out and playing at home... and they still couldn't win. Granted, I think this year's team is on a whole nother level, mentally... but in the end, it is a mental issue/killer instinct/championship or bust mindset that really is the only thing the Rockets are missing from getting them to the next level. And since they actually have to be on the cusp to showcase that, media members are going to question it till they actually see it.
There is no threat to GS from below, so why would they go balls out to the end? Would not surprise me if GS starts to throttle down a bit, limit some minutes, and try to get everyone healthy. If they do it, then after another GS loss or two, we can too as long as we stay ahead of the Raptors. (Raptor and Celts are in a similar position--way ahead of everyone else so same dynamic might apply.)
