He's not talking about his wife. He's talking about the fact that Luhnow has brought in players with hot wives like Verlander (Kate Upton), Joe Smith (Allie LaForce), Carlos Correa (Miss Texas), etc. Now, it's insulting because he's insinuating that his own players don't have attractive wives, but he's not talking about his own wife.
How would it be 99'er? He didn't just our org until 2006. Before that, he was a Celtics fan. You would have to be looking at a lurker account created at the earliest around then.
Because DaDakota still posts in 2018? Because DaDakota is infamous for his hot takes on talent? Or, I don't know, maybe he just clicked on Members and saw the guy with almost 40k more posts than the next closest guy? The answers are endless
That was not the point of the answer? You asked how Morey would have known about DD. DD still posts till this day, so of course Morey would have seen his name pop up here and there whenever he visited CF, especially consider how active DD was at posting. All he had to do was click on a Lowry/Brooks or V-Span thread.
I would imagine Daryl enjoys smarter basketball minds than mine that post here if he does indeed lurk. I can't remember if I've ever asked him if he does. We do enjoy a great friendship though. He's about the nicest, funniest, smartest friend I have and I have lots of nice, funny, smart friends. I owe the entire relationship to @rimrocker who gave me the idea to reach out to him after seeing him express a love of theatre on a twitter AMA. I think it's highly appropriate that it should have been my friendships on clutchfans that led to me becoming friends and collaborators with Daryl. It's why I was so insistent with the NYT writer that he include clutchfans in their story announcing the play. I really tried to get rimrocker into that story too.
