even if he cant return to his star level talent, he can put up similar numbers to clarkson but a little better.

i guess time will tell if im wrong but i'd bet im not

    I have a little sympathy for I T
He has been screwed all the way around in this affair
    1. He never asked for the trade
    2. He just went where he was told and tried to make the best of it

Boston f***ed him over big time.
Cost him money he will never get back
After he tried his hardest for that organization including making injury worse

Thomas wasn’t going to give you anything. Defensively probably one of the worst players on that end. Im surprised they got back 2 quality players.

Clarkson is underrated. Just watch n be surprised.

IT was looking for max money and made it publicly known. boston wasn't going to pay him that much. he was going to get traded sooner or later

Celtics really screwed him. He probably should have got that surgery sooner. He wouldn't have got max money, but at least 15mil. With celtics and combined with his mouth he has probably reduced that to like 5 mil.

Everything points to Houston except the $$$. We have only 18M in capspace for Cp3, Capela, Luc, Green and Ariza.

The Cavs are similarly over the cap but their pieces are a lot more tradable than ours (as we have seen). If Lebron stays the Cavs can easily clear enough cap room to accomodate Cp3.

And then what? Winning is all that matters to CP3. Going to an organization in shambles is hardly what he wants to do entering into his age 33 season.....even if it is with LeBron.

I can see him getting a one year "prove yourself" type deal which sucks for him honestly

How are the Cavs in shambles? The moment Lebron says he is staying they will be great again.

Winning matters a lot to Cp3, but the $$$ matters a lot too he is the president of the NBA player association and fought hard for every % they can get.

If CP3 leaves, he's going back to LA with LeBron. If the lakers can find a way to dump Deng (might take Ingram/Kusma, but LeBron and PG would make them redundant), they would have enough cap space for 3 30 million dollar deals, enough to get LeBron, CP3, and George, that team would topple GSW as the best in the west, while crippling two of the three best teams in the conference.

What sucks is that the Thunder get to face the Lakers without Clarkson or Nance tonight. Of course it would be OKC that gets an easy win tonight.

They couldn’t do 3 30 million dollar deals unless they shed other salary but they could do 3 big deals for sure

The lakers definitely made out like bandits. Got that first round pick for shedding salary they didn’t want lol. Amazing

People ruling out the possibility of cp3 leaving are crazy. Nothing is official until he signs the dotted line

CP3 has publicly said that it was extremely difficult to uproot his family when choosing Houston. I seriously doubt he will uproot them again, unless it is back to LA. The threat isn't Cleveland. The threat to me are the lakers. I wasn't worried about them at first...but now I could see Lebron and CP3 teaming up there now.

Russ and Melo are both questionable for tonight’s game with ankle sprains...if they both sit this one out then maybe LA could pull out another win against them
