Sir, I watch 80% of all NBA games. Lebron is playing on a crap defense without a rim protector in a position that's out of his proper role. Put him at the 4 with a decent paint defending big and a decent defender at the point and he'll be spectacular. But not on a Cavs team that isn't even trying, has two poor defending pfs in Love and the Arizona guy, and has total crap defenders at the point of attack.

I've seen every LeBron game. His defensive rating is a function of the teams defense. No different than Capela's offensive rating is a function of playing in the right system with Harden and Paul and a pile of shooters.

It’s amzing how much bullshit comes out of people mouths.

PS the earth isn’t flat bro...

A healthy Lebron is still the best defender in the NBA. At PF he would be a lights out defender, and BY FAR the second best defender the Rockets have ever had, behind Dream. If you had CP3 and Harden to let him rest on offense, he would be even more unreal.

Age 34-35-36-37-38 (Lebron is a Rocket, Harden snags 5 rings) ;)

Don't know how I should feel about this. Seems like a bad thing?? (at least regarding a potential LerBon pursuit?)

Sounds like a perfect opportunity to go younger, cheaper, bouncier and less whiney.

    Step right up Aaron Gordon.

Like the NBA’s 6th leading shot blocker (with 1.8 blks/game) like Capela?

My mistake. I haven’t heard that sources near to the Rockets say anything like that

@ch44 where have you heard this? Enlighten me please, if you can

Why are there so many posts about Lebron James here? Aren’t we talking about JJ?

JJ would be nice as well as another big. But we should be prepared to roll into the playoffs with our current roster. No one from our 9 man rotation (starters + EG PJ Luc and Nene) has played himself out of minutes. Nene has not been impressive but I’m pretty sure coaches don’t want him going hard until playoffs. Less than a year ago dude went 12 of 12 from the floor.

That should be ok if we’re pursuing Lebron through trade this summer no?

Eh, definitely not good since it's one less option, but in the end i think open up cap space is/was always the most difficult path for us at this point, cause moving Anderson (which sounds already super hard) wouldn't be enough anyway unless Paul, Ariza and Lebron himself would take a huge paycut so...

I think it's "dangerous", more so if you aren't already moving Anderson. (He said they've made offers that don't include just dumping Anderson).

I doubt Cleveland wants long-term contracts on their books, or really any team for that matter.

Lebron doesn't wanna to be coached by Fluke Walton.
