A couple of years too late and while I get the contract they handed out to Batum and getting Dwight, everyone saw this coming the last few years with injuries, bad draft choices and just not being able to pair Kemba with a real strong wing / forward. Cannot really fault them for trying, but it's clear something needs to change in Charlotte. I think they just rode the high with the name change and figured they could somehow be relevant.
only problem is, who do we attach with ryan anderson? there's no way we're trading gordon. We'd have to give up something valuable.
I wonder if nyk would want both Dwight and kemba. I also wonder if Charlotte is willing to swallow Noah’s contract.
Woah. They would be blowing it up then. I'd love to be a third team if possible. Spurs could work, maybe Detroit too. Orlando? Could New Orleans make a play?
Whenever @Codman gives us scoop about a team and a trade, Presti swoops in and steals Morey's idea. Thunder may not make any sense but watch out for Presti to c*ck-block again.
Cho is still their GM right? he's not that bad in trades, so I don't expect something completely r****ded like a trade for Noah. This looks like the owner is tired of this core and probably there will be a lot of firings in the summer.
who do you think is a better player Walker or Bledsoe? if this had happened a few months earlier maybe the Bucks could have traded for him. :/
http://stats.nba.com/player/202689/traditional/ about the same % as Gordon. Doesn't take super long ones as often, but shoots way more often off the dribble.
yea, but gordon can do both, and deeper. he needs to catch and shoot. why would you give up gordon for him? we already have paul
To me they're both kinda overrated, not saying they're bad players, just that i don't think they make other guys around them better, and since they're PGs eh, that's not exactly great...shot selection isn't great either. If i'm forced to pick one i'd probably take Kemba just because he's less injury prone. I also agree about Cho, he made Atlanta pay for Dwight (still a decent gamble for Charlotte) while he refused to pay us for him a year before, gave a decent contract to Marvin all things considered, Batum contract looks bad as today, but when he was healty he was playing very well and was their best player so, don't blame him that much for paying him, maybe one year less would've been better.
