Honestly. . . . all you need is 5 fairly Reffed games No Draymond and Klay able to foul at will without call No one sided touch call No allow Pachewie to be a Goon No parade of moving picks that would make the Texans offensive line jealous Rocket River
Their non LeBron history says they would not be building toward anything Do you think the Kyire Wiggins team would be making alot of noise by now? Rocket River
You're old enough to remember this. Before IT hit the court, I said he would make the Cavs much worse on defense and might nullify Kevin Love on offense.
If his height is the issue, then there's nothing he can do about it. Maybe we have to accept that below 6', you just can't play at an elite level due to being a non-factor on defense.
Not just height. IT isn't stocky, strong or long. He's just very easy to abuse. He probably needs to copy JJ Barea and make falling down his signature defensive move. Last year when the Celtics ran 10,000 PnRs each game for IT (I exaggerate for effect), his offensive stats overwhelmed any discussion about him. What most people don't know is Brad Stevens had to pull him in many late game situations because of defense.
The Cavs could very easily take a nose-dive over the next 10 games before the trade deadline on 2/8: Jan 18 vs Orlando Jan 20 vs Oklahoma City Jan 23 @ San Antonio Jan 26 vs Indiana Jan 28 vs Detroit Jan 30 @ Detroit Jan 31 vs Miami Feb 3 vs Houston Feb 6 @ Orlando Feb 7 vs Minnesota @Codman: Any chance that LeBron would force a trade to Houston before the deadline? Seems like he'd get a lot of negative PR for it, but I'm interested in your thoughts.
This happens every year, we all know the Cavs will pull it together and get to the finals, LeBron has carried worse teams than this.
This is the year they get knocked out IMO. I haven't doubted LeBron at ALL until this season. And I'm a #1 LeBron stan.
I think they will be fine over the next 10. Cavs just came off a brutal stretch of 10/13 games on the road. At one point they played 10/11 on the road. That would make any team crack. Also consider after a long road trip, the first home game back is almost another road game. Cavs play a lot better at home. Wouldn't be surprised if they went 8-2 or 9-1.
The Cavs have the highest payroll and one of the most talented teams in the NBA. As the leader of the team, Lebron should be considered part of the problem. The same guy you give ALL the glory too when their winning
LeBron is absolutely part of the problem. The Cavs have one foot in the door on this season and one foot on the future because they have no idea what he is going to do next summer.
I’m no Codman, but there is no chance Lebron leaves middle of the season, no matter how bad it’s going. He’ll probably try and force someone else out behind doors (IT).
