ryan and cp3 5 pts more? we re certainly not looking at memphis-like meltdown, but i dont see anyone ready to take jameses minutes, assists and buckets. if i d have to, i would put my money on gordon.
My main concern is cp3 getting injured with all this weight in his shoulders. Going to need Gordon to step up YUGE regardless.
so its more realistic gordon that scores 30 points more instead of ryan scoring 5 more and cp3 to score 5 more and green to add 10 points plus webber contributing 10 by allowing less points than harden?
its every fans dream to have even distribution of points, but we know someone usually spike off. last game that harden sat, beverly, lou and troy came big. ok, maybe lou came as usually. this time, i think ist gonna be gordon, cause of his known scorers mentality.
1st if possibly 10 games without harden... hopefully we can go 7-3 in this stretch. Thursday Vs GSW is a probably a loss
harden produces an average of around 32 points a night so the remaining rockets players need to score and limit the defense by a combined 30 points at least to have a chance to win every night Boston is giving up 98 points a night while we are giving up 107 points.. so even the best scenario we limit the opponents to 5 points less on defense we still need to make up 25 more points on offense not 1 single player not gonna make all these points up.. everyone needs to step up offensively but for sure RA can't continue scoring 7 points a game just like his last 10 games and expect us to win.. he needs to score 10 to 15 pts a night plus harden drives 18 times a game and scores 12 ppg on drives alone maybe Morey and MDA will just tell everyone to shoot moar threes
Rockets need winning this game to keep things easier for themselves. Hope Chris is only needed 32 minutes... or less.
thought loss in Harden Paul will step up Gordon will have a good game 25 30 pts vs Magic I see us winning vs Golden State I'm looking to watch an interesting game
I am actually very interested to see how they will perform and compete without James Harden. Of course, we are not the same without him, but if there is any silver lining, it will give other players the opportunity to step up in his absence. I think we are good enough to at least stay in the top 4 while he is out- maybe, we'll shock everyone and keep the #2.
Maybe Harden going down is just what the doctor ordered to snap them out of this funk. The entire team gets in the bad habit of Harden watching, and James isn't without blame in that. The focus simply isn't there overall, and that has shown up on the defensive end more than anything. Even without the Beard, a Paul led Rockets team should take Orlando. Get this machine churning again for when Harden is back.
I think the good thing is now we'll need a more balance effort from our role players. Guys like Green, Weber & Black we'll need to step up which is good for them. Ofcourse EG will need to play big. But with CP controlling the offense it'll open up opportunities for guys that weren't normally there. I REALLY wanna see Gerald Green get his shine on
The silver lining is that clutch fans will significantly improve in quality when the people that complain about James Harden finally leave.
Hopefully Green can give us 25+ minutes of efficient basketball. He’s definitely a keeper at his current pace and level of play!
