Trading Beasley for Ennis was just a terrible move. Ennis is a well known garbage player while Beasley still had a ton of potential because he's long like KD and is an instant offense guy even if he didn't fit our system.

The problem wasn't the trade, it was whole Morey traded him for.

You're a ****ing hater bro. Beas can light it up on any given night. You're not a coach, why is his defense important to you? Did Max Kellerman insult his game and you believed him? Hating is a birth defect, you need to get that checked out

    Right??
Beast is a lil loss on defense.. but dude can score on any given nights.
And no one is asking to pick Beasley over Moute or Tucker.. The thing is we didn't have to get rid of Beasley at least i didn't think so since he was traded for Ennis which was seldomly used....

This isn’t correct, even as opinions go this is revisionist at best.

Ennis had very little track record, so well known is nothing. To boot, what he was traded for is a guy who stepped in, baptized by fire while Beverley spent the beginning of the season recovering. Although not a world beater, he was able to stabilize the team long enough to get Bev back. Beasley is probably the better player but like you said, didn’t fit AND didn’t play point. That’s was a season saving trade.

Beasley was the second best scorer when he was on our team.

Is your claim that we need a really inefficient tweener that shoots long 2’s all game and doesn’t play defense?

Apparently you're one of those people that believes there are people in the universe who are right 100% of the time. There aren't. But Morey built this team that is on pace to win 70 games right now and I'm pretty good with that.

You're literally upset that he didn't keep an inefficient chucker who would be somewhere around 9th or 10th man on our roster right now. I know Tyler Ennis sucked even worse, but here is the weird thing. Miraculously the Rockets have recovered just fine from the devastating Beasley trade.

P.s. If Morey hadn't traded Beasley then he'd either have not been resigned to make room for Chris Paul or he would have been packaged and sent to the Clippers with the rest of the scrubs. Either way it's pretty unlikely he'd be on the Rockets right now.

Beasley? Low BB IQ, hell probably low actual IQ. Who dusted this thread off ? Beasley is playing on a bad team . You guys just watch boxscores. Next.

Against the Spurs last playoffs we sure as hell did need exactly that. And Beasley was a back up on the Rockets, microwave offense off the bench.

Beasley definitely wouldn't crack the rotation, but when we have a ton of guys out he's a better option than just playing a 7 man rotation lol.
