I love Clint and liked having Dwight but it's a damn shame if DJ never gets to rep his home town. This dude was fist bumping during a clippers game when he heard the news about the Astros. Imagine the passion he would have playing for the rockets! Well at least we know if Clint leaves on some ridiculous offer we have this...

Not overly excited about a guy who would be hack'd to end games and quarters.

Their stats are pretty much even this year...just that you see Clint improving where DJ is pretty much what you see is what you get...

Right now, the difference is DJ can be physical with other big's, the big question is do we think Client can develop this in the next few years?

It'd have to be some serious Cyberx Monday-type discount, no deal otherwise.

He's probably slobbering to play with CP to make him look good again.

Nah, I'm good DeAndre. I like my team the way it is.

I'd only want him for the Vet Minimum.

Man, as hard as it is to give up Gordon, I would still be hurt, THIS TRADE would have to go down if the other two teams were foolish enough to do it. We would have 48 minutes of lob city and lock down defense! Losing Gordon hurts our guard rotation tremendously, especially if injuries occur; so Morey would have to go get us some better backup vet guards and a 3rd stringer. Of course we could also go bigger with Ariza or PG13 at the two, but that's not a long term solution.

10-14mill a year, yes for deandre. I have a feeling some stupid team is going to offer Capela a max contract.

If he'd be considerably cheaper than Capela, allowing us more flexibility with the roster, I'd consider it. Otherwise, I'd rather see how Clint continues to develop over the next year or 2.

Everyone saying "I'd rather have Clint". Well yeah

But him saying he wants to come to Houston is both not surprising (the Clippers are no good and he's from Houston) and in no way bad news.

Just the fact that he wants to come here, if true, means nothing. We're not going to trade Clint for him. But if there was either some other trade (three team deal with Anderson to third team, assets to Clippers, Jordan to us?) for Jordan and Clint to be 1a/1b at center similar to Harden and Paul at PG... Or if we did lose Clint this off-season and have him for a backup plan.

There is really nothing bad about him just wanting to come here

Why are people still talking about shipping Ryno out? He’s an important piece to a Rockets championship run.

I wouldn’t even trade Ryno for DJ straight up. I too am not thrilled with acquiring a hack a player.

Because with Paul and Gordon Anderson isn't key.

Because his contract is the biggest hurdle to acquiring the 3rd star. Sure hes a good player and makes us deadly when hes hot, but hes not worth 20 per, hes around 12 per.

Would i trade him for DJ?...its tough maybe is DJ waived his player option pre-trade but even then i couldnt give you an honest opinion because its too close to call. You would have to assume we attach a 1st and a 3rd team gets involved because the clippers have no use for ryno.

Clinty, it was nice knowing you. Sniff, sniff...:(

Warmly welcome, Lebron and DJ, warmly welcome! :)

    Starting lineup:
    James Harden
    CP3
    Lebron James
    D. Jordan
    Trevor Ariza

That' the only way Clint is out of here. Otherwise, thanks but no thanks.
