Should work (never looked into this specific scenario), just have to know that coinbase is falling under US jurisdiction while Binance is Hong Kong based and hard to target in case you have legal issues. People are paying a bit of a premium for a reason. Also gotta calculate the transaction fees when trading, although it should be better than straight up buying at coinbase.
Seeing all this binance-coinbase talk btw, I gotta reiterate that every trade (same currency) you do is a tax event, unless it is instant and zero value changes. And even then, you have to record what happened exactly to prove that you didn't sell the crypto when removing from one exchange.
Holy hell, what is causing the massive spikes for Litecoin/Etherium? Put a piece in each of them, then completely forgot about it, and was about to exchange for bitcoin last week when I luckily decided to hold on to them.
Market is in a euphorical phase because of the btc futures thing going well, so the biggest coins are especially profiting from the new money.
Seems like the real money makers are the ones who get in when the price is like 7 cents. My crypto investments have earned me more money than all the investing/gambling of my lifetime, but some of those guys have literally gotten 3000% returns on small, small investments. Any know of any hip knew currencies I can buy in on? Want to drop $20 on $1 or less coins all over the place
The comments from the Litecoin CEO worry me.. I mean it's a huge disclaimer lol.. yet FOMA is settling in like a MF'er
Total crapshoot honestly, unless you got access to pump&dump groups that intentionally do this. The only things I own below 1$ are ADA (my biggest altcoin investment by far), XLM and FUN. A good way of finding coins that are up for a short-term pump is by checking rumors/forums to see which ones are likely going to be added to the big exchanges like Bittrex.
He's logically right and we definitely need a healthy correction for all coins at some point, but you have to know that he's always wanted LTC to be a steady coin that isn't prone to huge pump&dumps.
The ones I mentioned are all available on bittrex, you can in general check https://coinmarketcap.com/ to see the markets for every individual coin. The more obscure ones with a ton of short-term potential are ones that are only listed on a few smaller exchanges like Binance, EtherDelta etc As soon as these get added by huge exchanges like bittrex, you'll see 100%+ pumps within hours. Gotta be careful with rumours though, they are often deliberately spread to cheat newcomers into baseless pump&dumps.
@oelman44 just checked the page and listing some of the <1$ alts that were praised when I last informed myself: ADA XLM FUN LINK BAT CVC SYS XEM/NEM POWR VeChain
I do own BTC as well as alts, but this also assumes that the person has their BTC in another exchange that has USD pairing and their Alts sitting in the other exchange. So they can do two different transactions. Or the person doesn't have their BTC sitting in a wallet.
As much as I loved the USD pairing and lower prices of the coins, the fact that I saw the CloudFlare page more than the actual website bothered me, so I moved my stuff out of it.
