That I agree with but Ancelotti has always had the experience, he just isn't a universal bandaid for every top club. He is better than solid, and that is enough for most of the clubs out there. The only caveat......his age and decline of mind. See most clubs would be ok with 1 league title, Bayern isn't so it's hard for most coaches, that is why they have a hard time getting the 'right coach' for a team that isn't willing to spend top money.
Fun fact: Klopp final home game with Dortmund: Bremen Tuchel final home game: Bremen Bosz: Playing vs Bremen today
They really lost it. Unbelievable, Bremen is basically Kruse + scrubs. Now Dortmund has no other choice than fire Bosz. Still hope they keep him until the Cup game before Christmas. Meanwhile, major props to Tom Starke. Already retired, hasn't played in six months and rarely before that, gets the call just before the game and answers it. Frankfurt hasn't challenged him a whole lot, still made it look like he's on the court every week.
Tuchel probably laughing his ass off seeing how this season went down the drain for Dortmund. Watzke and Zorc have put their egos above the club for a few years now and are starting to seriously hurt the club, this could end in really ugly fashion. The most stunning thing to me has always been how they sold guys like Hummels, Mkhitaryan, Dembele etc but never bothered to reinvest these large sums, that's what you get for thinking you can arrogantly outsmart the market.
Good. Dortmund is a talented team and there’s no excuse for the last 2 months. Yes, they started out great...but I’d argue that was in spite of him instead of because of him.
BILD saying Peter Stöger (sacked by Köln a week ago) will be new BVB coach, intriguing. Hope he can find some level of success there, a great human being and beloved by pretty much every player involved with him. Read some interviews where players said he's always available to talk and also helping with family issues etc, rare to see that in today's business.
Austrian semi legend......but one funny fact....some people still think upcoming player Kevin Stöger is related to Peter Stöger, think it's his son or nephew but in reality not related.
Super interesting development: BILD saying Nagelsmann is in deeply advanced talks with Dortmund and will take over in July.
Lol essentially they are saying there is a list of more than 1 guy they will negotiate with. Bye Bosz.
Nah. The Stöger thing is already official and the contract ends at June 30, BILD is saying Nagelsmann will be coach from next season on.
LMAO, so they fire Bosz like one month too late to bring the coach who just got fired from the worst record in the league with zero wins in order to take over this dysfunctional group? When has Dortmund become such a shitshow? I really like Stöger, great person and excellent coach, but the timing is disastrous. They also "knew" Armin Veh would be the interim coach. No need to spread their bs.
Well they only said Veh was an option and that no talks were held, bit different. Stöger was also fired after that, so a better option became available.
Veh signed with Köln before Stöger was fired and although everybody knew, Bosz's days were counted, so it looks like he never was an option in the first place. One shouldn't trust a single word out of their filthy mouths (but this feels like a déjà-vu, so we probably had that discussion before).
