Mhh idk i think he would be perfect on our team. If he really buys in, he is THE player for the rox imo. And honestly, if i was a ball player, id rather take $10m less and accomplish something in my career and live a happy life. Losing night after night would be so infuriating to me, i couldn’t handle it. But i guess im just to competitive. Happiness>money for me, but can’t expect everyone to be like that.
If someone told me The Jazz would have a better record than OKC, with a hurt Gorbert and other players, I wouldn't believe you. I guess that say a lot about Melo and Westbrook when the Jazz with their best player hurt still have a better team
They look better with westbrook, defenders, and rebounders to put back westbrooks misses rather than asking westbrook to share the ball with two perimeter guys. I think the most effective way to build a team around westbrook is the kobe model. Surround him with defense and tall rebounding guys who play down low. He needs dudes who are happy mainly playing defense and rebounding lol
Joe Chee kinda reminds me of Gobert with the crazy long arms and all. Gobert ain’t that jacked too, obviously still way more muscle than Joe. Am i crazy?
I think the better comparison is Iverson. Kobe, as much of a chucker as he was, played with some great big men and shared the ball with them. Iverson had defensive teams built around him with anemic offensive players just so he could shoot as much as he wanted to.
*letting him have rebounds Also, the Kobe Model was have players better than him on the roster, Kobe never led his own team in WS any year they won a championship.
Roberson is so underrated. Top 3 defender imo. If he could just shoot 35% from 3 I’d take him every day of the week. And i think it’s possible to develop your shot well enough to hit 35%
