Would be nice if the Spurs didn’t play the easiest schedule of the season thus far. Only 3 games up on the Spurs.
Does anyone else struggle to understand why Harden is playing so damn many minutes in all these blowouts? I don't get it... Harden is basically averaging the same ~36 mpg that he averages every year despite the fact that we've had Chris Paul for about 1/3 the season and practically each one of our wins has been blowouts. Why does he keep playing so late into 20-pt-margin 4th quarters? Is it MDA wanting to keep him in shape or something? Is it Harden wanting to play and maybe build his stats? (The latter seems unlikely since Harden is noticeably disinterested in the 4th Qs of every blowout game, and his shooting %s show it)
The game ended with 14 up, red bloods have heard of 13 in 33, some of us saw it..... 4 minutes left is when you generally pull your guys, 8 if it’s 30+. Harden was put back into the game at 8 minutes because it wasn’t a 20 point lead. This is today’s NBA, no leads are safe man.
That's actually proper. We've talked about accounting for points with Harden like this, this entire year. Maybe that just checked in part shows you're not with it. So, get with it. SIL
Ryan Anderson deserves a lot of praise. He isn't just relying on the 3 ball. His defense and ability to score near the basket, as well as improved home shooting is making him a consistent threat to the opposition. I'm pleasantly surprised, I must admit. Keep it up Ryan!
How the heck are you meant to guard him, lol... I mean, the defender may as well be invisible for all the good he's doing.
Remember when some idiots here wanted to point out Klay> Harden? well Klay cant even beat the Kings by himself. Harden year in year out was carrying a bunch of scrubs to 50 plus win seasons while being the best at his position being a point guard or a SG..
THIS. . . Was SO frustrating last year watching playoff games when we're producing 17 TO's per game. Makes it 2x more difficult to beat a team when you are handing them the ball over 10 times per game Just with CP in the game to handle the ball more it reduces opponent's easy transition points. Also CP seems to have been a good influence on James. His TO's seem to be less than last year. WIN-WIN!
James Harden is a freaking cheat code. It's honestly not comprehensible how good this guy is at offense. I have never seen anyone like this guy. Unlimited range off the catch or bounce can get to the paint at will and on top of that is one of the best playmakers/passers of the last decade. Rare rare talent.
