I think he's acting out as the untalented middle child that his dad never talks about. Probably sucks when your dad is saying your brother is better than Steph Curry but doesn't say a single good thing about you individually.
The pressure of his father's public bravado and the high expectations may be weighing on Lonzo. That could explain some of his lack of energy. One of Luke Walton's comments meant as an excuse for Lonzo was actually an indictment: "The hardest thing for young players is the consistency, when you play so many games". Portland was only their 8th game! How is it going to be during the dog days from mid-January to the All-Star game on Feb 18th?

He's a kid he made a mistake. If I was Lavar I'd see if I could get the owner of that store to drop the charges by buying the items the kids allegedly stole plus add on a big shopping spree as a bonus. Anybody know if the Chinese justice system allows freeing the accused if the charges are dropped.
I’ve been in about 40 different countries in my life. I’ll be damned if I would ever take anything without paying. Traveling to some of the places I’ve been is stressful enough (mostly airport BS) but I’m not going to add going to jail. Screw that.
