Hinch.....if you ever leave Giles in again in a similar situation you will most likely kill me from a heart attack brought on by rage.

Two times in on day I agree with what. :) Except that he was firing up the whole team, not just the relievers.

I will be the first. I deserve to be laughed at for doubting them. No, correct that, I will gladly, gladly take all the criticism that can be heaped upon a human being.

Because no matter how much that is, the Astros won, and I'll take verbal slaps in the face for my team.

“that’s the dugout -_-” Bryce Harper commercial.

He was screaming at the batters IIRC. Relievers are in the bullpen.

Verlander coming back from the bench to tell his teammates to keep fighting was awesome

5 home runs in extra innings alone has never been done in any baseball game EVER- regular season or postseason game!!!

Only team to win an ALCS and an NLCS

player of the game was marwin for me.

his homer in the 9th down 3-2 was the biggest hit in franchise history.

This is the best Astros game ever.

First World Series victory in franchise history.

Verlander has been untouchable, only gives up 2 hits but 3 runs.

We get a run in the 8th to make it 3-2.... then face the best closer in baseball and Marwin Gonzalez ties it in the bottom of the 9th on the road.

We bust it open in the 10th with back to back homers from two future Hall of Famers.

Ken Giles confirms what we already knew, that he doesn't have the stomach for closing.

We get two more to go up two... then Devo gives up a solo shot, and with two outs the guy that homered last at bat is up with a 3-2 count and it takes an amazing pitch to end the game.

If we lost tonight with Verlander on the hill; and then being in a 2-0 hole, we very well may have ended up steam rolled in 4-5 games. Winning this game, going into Houston with three games, changes the complexion of everything completely.

This is so far the single most important win in 50+ years of Astros baseball.

Yeah, in an ironic way, that blown save by Giles was a blessing in disguise. It gave Maybin a chance to make a contribution. It gave Springer a chance to be the hero and get his bat going. It gave Devo a chance to redeem himself and regain his regular season form. And it was emotionally crushing for the Dodgers twice in extra innings.

Guys, do you all realize that Springer and Marwin had two clutch homers? Those guys got off the Schneid big time!
