He is a veteran and knows what to expect out on the court. Jackson is very inexperienced and has no clue what is happening other than to try and not turn the ball over and hustle.

This is an okay signing. Would have preferred a "floor general" but the pickings are pretty slim on that front. Canaan fits our system even if he can't run the offense any better than Eric Gordon (Point Guard Version).
Isn't CP3 Canaan's Idol? I remember when Canaan went against CP3 for the first time years ago, he was playing really well, then he hurt his ankle and was done as a Rocket.
Canaan should be more reliable than Jackson, which is all you can really ask of a minimum, non-guaranteed player who won't expect PT when the guard rotation is restored.
