Which was preceded by a dink and a dunk after two outs.

He had already warmed up. Had they thrown anyone else at the first sign of trouble they would have brought him in anyway.

    1) Where are you getting your numbers? This postseason Morton has given up 9 in 8 and McCullers has given up 3 in 9.
    2) I'm looking bigger picture. Lance has had only one good appearance since coming back (5 appearances). Morton had 5 good outings in the same time frame (7 appearances) and went 4-1 in September.

I know it's tempting to just look at what's happened in the postseason, or more specifically what happened in games 3 and 4 (since Morton did a little better than Lance in the Boston series) but what I see is that McCullers had his first good game in his last 8 or 9 outings dating back to before he went on the DL. I'm not exactly confident he'll be able to pitch like that again. I'm not necessarily confident in Morton either given what happened in game 3. But I understand and I don't think not starting McCullers is some moronic thing to do.

Short rest is especially important when evaluating someone fresh off health issues like lance

Game 7 lineup I think will be:

    1. Springer
    2. Bregman
    3. Altuve
    4. Correa
    5. Yuli
    6. Marwin
    7. Gattis
    8. Reddick
    9. McCann

I will say that if Hinch has any plans of playing both Morton and McCullers tomorrow, it makes more sense to use McCullers first since it takes him longer to warm up and get ready to pitch.

Man, if Astros win tomorrow. Reddick better not be celebrating in his speedos. He doesn't deserve to celebrate with nothing he has done.

He should be forced to play in his speedos for the entire game tomorrow.

Would you rather listen to announcer’s blather or the roar of the crowd? What do you want them to say? They have been fawning over Altuve the entire series.

roar of the crowd. It gives you chills. You should check out the play of the correa hit with altuve rounding the bases no announcers. Best ever. Yes they gave the little leader some fawning I suppose.

I've been to every play-off home game. Honestly felt like I was going to a funeral today due to how poor we looked all week in New York. I was pleasantly surprised.

I wanted McCullers to go tomorrow because 1) He looked great Tuesday 2) He pitches even better at home 3) he seems like the type of dude who would seize a moment like this... game 7 at home... high drama

Springer has been just as a**. Those two have been a massive disappointment. Especially when you consider George is suppose to be part of our three headed monster... he has looked hopeless.
