    Rockets waive Isaiah Taylor, Tim Quarterman, George de Paula, Chris Johnson. Troy Williams, Nanu Onuaku, as expected, make roster.

    Wish they could have traded or cut Onuaku and kept Taylor. He is pretty useless and is wasting a roster spot.

    Maybe they're bringing in a veteran PG.

    Why Taylor!? EGO, and CP3 are injury concerns every year and you cut your only promising PG? I really though Taylor played his way onto this team in Summer league.. Bobby Brown out here ending careers because of his iphone contact list.

    Might have rather kept Taylor over Onuaku, but whatever Onuaku is a guranteed contract.

    PG: Paul / Brown
    SG: Harden / Gordon
    SF: Ariza / Tucker / Williams
    PF: Anderson / Moute
    C: Capela / Nene / Black / Onuaku

    G-League: Qi, Oliver
    2way: Jackson

    16 players total, still have room for one more 2way deal signing.

    Neither move the needle for me on a Championship caliber team. If injuries become concern it seems we are always able to find someone out of the blue at point

    If Johnson was going to get cut why did he play so much in Preseason? I was wondering why Troy didn't get those minutes.

    You forgot Onuaku. He is a wasted roster spot, but he is a roster spot currently. We are at 15.

    Qi will probably be active roster and Onuaku will be G-League.

    Look for Williams to get non garbage playing minutes.

    Taylor was non-guaranteed. Onuaku and Oliver were guaranteed. Rockets are close to luxury tax. Financial reasons.
