Guy wearing a CLE hat just said Altuve was the MVP over Judge.

Maybe just hating since it's the opponent, but reason being, Judge has too many Ks.

Said you can't lead the league in Ks and be MVP. Wonder if that's ever happened? Maybe Ruth.

I even framed the question to where Judge was the easy answer... "so you think Judge is the MVP?".. not... "who do you think is".

Hope the Big Little Homie wins.

Trout led the league in strike outs and won an MVP the same season

Yeah... I'd lean that way. Nothing wrong with Verlander in game 1, but I think Keuchel is the right move. Hold off on game 3/4 starters just in case you feel the need to throw Peacock in relief (which I wouldn't hesitate to do in game 1).

    He was hating ;)

Researching now, Ruth's - one and only - MVP was another occurance.

Probably has happened many times considering the value of HRs.

    Hating for sure.

    rooting for Yankees because

    • home field
    • more national attention for Houston
    • they don't scare me as much as Cleveland
    • Altuve vs Judge, David vs. Goliath matchup would be so much fun
