I liked Avatar better when it was called Dances With Wolves.

@Nero is correct, Aliens #1 by a mile.

I have no problem with the attempt, but my gut tells me that old directors have a hard time getting away from their old tricks, and that dates the attempt before it even gets started. He gotta be able to totally let go of the past and think innovatively. I've actually liked several of the sequels including rise of the machines and salvation. But Cameron will likely fall back on what he thinks works, but has become dated.

Has Cameron flipped his lid? This can't be true. Does the article come from The Onion?

I wonder what kind of training they are going to put 60 year old Linda Hamilton through this time around? Remember how in shape she went from T1 to T2? She did her "Rocky" transformation. Maybe they can call Sly and he can train her with HGH?

The transformation of her character is one of the reasons T2 was so badass. I'm dubious how they can recapture some kind of new dynamic in a T2 sequel but I love all the Terminators so I'll definitely watch this one. They will have to throw in some kind of curveball to make this sequel live up to the first two.

Avatar was an insane theatre experience. Craziest 3D ever.

Cameron is saving the franchise and taking the nasty **** taste out of the fans' mouth of which we were led to believe were actual Terminator movies.

Here's my problem. Reese said (or started to say; insinuated) in the original "Terminator" that Sarah dies not long after that picture was taken of her by the Mexican kid at the end of the original film. So, unless Cameron goes back to alter the film to remove that line and insinuation, then there is no way Sarah Connor would still be alive for this film. You can't erase that unless you change the original film. So, you're busted (Cameron) and I'm out! Sure, we can ignore what happened later. But, we can't ignore what happened before....b****! ;)

Disclaimer: While I believe the above to be true, I am mainly just prodding at these bastards for their bs when it comes to how they inject new films seemingly at will and we're supposed to just take it. How many different actors in recurring characters are we supposed to endure before you just pull the plug on the whole damn thing? But, of course I'm going to watch the films. This is just in jest. Also, my argument could be completely wrong as Sarah obviously lived to be old enough to have a kid grown into a teenager. So, maybe I misremember what Reese was saying? I swear he started to say she wouldn't live long after that photo was taken before she cut him off. So, we need to erase T2 from the timeline as well. Sarah should have lived no more than 5 years after the photo was taken. That's it. We are only left with the original film. T2 no longer exists in my mind. lol

The above statement isn't true, its never insinuated that she dies young. Reese tells her that she raises him to be the leader.

What was he saying then before she cut him off and said she didn't want to know?

Nevermind...he was talking about how the father (himself...not knowing he was the father) dies before the war. That's why I had in my disclaimer that I may have misremembered. I was just having some fun. It was fun. ;)

She didn't want the full details of her life spilled out before her.

"And, he's banging his on-set 29 year old tutor during the making of T2." (Nice)

(or maybe the banging came later but it sounded like it started during T2?)
