Not sure how good Ball will be, but Mello's ranking seems fair, if not a bit generous to be honest judging by his performance last season.
RIP Fab Mello! I would rank Melo 64th if my wife was getting banged by Tommy on Power. Step your game up Mellllllloo.
Ball ranked 20 spots higher than the last two #1 picks, Simmons and Faultz. All because he got SL MVP for jacking up a bunch of horrible looking shots and getting in some nifty passes. Hell, Simmons was ranked like 120 as a rookie. Be curious if Ball just got the highest rookie ranking in years. What did Anthony Davis get ranked as a rookie.
They did it on purpose so ppl will talk about their list. Their list sucks anyway. SI's is much better.
Just another bargaining chip for getting melo. Not to say it's huge, but it's something that can be brought up.
My guess is we'll be getting 90 - 95% of that guy...now, when you factor in him playing with James/ CP3...ooo LA LA...
still ranked a lot higher than Ryno get this deal done Morey, there has to be a 3rd team out there somewhere
Alright, Anthony Davis got ranked 62 to Ball's 63. Davis won a national championship; Ball won Summer League MVP. Willing to bet those are the highest rankings for rookies since ESPN started doing this. KAT was ranked 75th. Lulz at the Laker love by ESPN.
