Every year since this team started up I keep saying......."Next year we will be better." The longer I sit here thinking about that horrible game the more disappointed I get. I never imagined 4 months ago I would feel this bad after Game 1 of the season. Mad, disappointed, and disgusted with everyone in charge. I don't blame the players. They are who they are, and Rick and crew chose them to play here, and made us believe they knew what they were doing. The only one who didn't let me down last year was Crennel. I want him back as our defensive coach, and don't have much faith in the rest.

Why did anyone assume we would play any different?
    On to the next season!

He's been dealing with a groin and/or hamstring injury. It was initially reported as groin and then changed.

And I hope his foot that was broken isn't giving him any issues.

on the one hand Texans always crumple and embarrass themselves in prime time or when it's a big game

on the other hand, it's the Bengals...

Foreman needs to be RB1 until the O line gets its **** together. I really believe he has prime marshawn lynch potential. We need an actual power runner to control the pace of the game like Fournette did today. That's Foreman all day.

His zero sacks-allowed last season might be fool's gold. He was mostly cut-blocking.

Let's give the Jaguars some credit too.

They've drafted pretty well the past few years...
    • Dante Fowler
    • Jalen Ramsey
    • Myles Jack
    • Leonard Fournette
    • Cam Robinson

Their owner Shahid Khan has been willing to pay in free agency as well...
    • Malik Jackson
    • Chris Ivory
    • Tashaun Gipson
    • A.J Bouye
    • Barry Church
    • Calais Campbell
That's a a lot of quality players added to the roster over the past few seasons. Bottom line is the Jaguars are going to be competitive in the AFC South with this stellar defense and a solid running game to back it.

Unless he's injured, this is absolutely baffling.

I've been trying to think of something the Texans weren't horrible at today. Special teams play!!!

The Texans were pretty average on special teams if I remember correctly. I'm going to view this as a positive.

So BOB names Savage the starter during camp but does a switch after a half? So he wasnt sure that Savage was the starter or else 1 half with poor offensive line play and terrible defense doesn't deserve a demotion. BOB doesnt know what to do
.Thats a recipe for disaster when your headcoach is quick to pull someone he has been pulling for. He put this on himself.

Everything went according to planned except a Jax beatdown. I knew Savage would look like a deer in headlights. I knew the defense would make Fournette look like Earl Campbell... I knew Lamar Miller would be Steve Slaton II..

But I'm shocked at how much of a regression Kevin Johnson has had. He looks like D.Fagins 2.0... Kareem still hasn't learned to turn his head around. Its his 8th damn year! Did Clowney even play? Cushing should call it a career. We in trouble yall!

Who would have guessed a couple years ago that someone would be saying this in the future?
