Houston vs Arizona

Ed Oliver is ridiculous.

Solid1st half, but I would say the play calling was backwards and shaky, especially on 3rd down and long where we didn't extend beyond the markers. Think we should be killing such a one dimensional team. But for our debut not too bad. Looking forward to a better second half and season. 17-10 god guys.

Is he the best UH lineman since Wilson Whitley?

 

That's before my time so I won't talk about it as if I have some kind of insight into how good he was but I think Oliver could go before the 8th pick in the NFL draft and that's where Whitley went.

 

Kyle Allen looks ok. Ed Oliver looks the same. Should be a good year for UH.

 

The camera work for this game is terrible.

 

Well that was about the worst thing that could have happened. Kyle Allen better not make a habit of those interceptions.

 

The UH WR's are terrible blockers.

 

Well, punt coverage has been A plus. Time for the D to maintain their A grade.

 

Now that's EXACTLY what they needed, clutch interception might seal the game.

 

One more first down please. Do it. Walk out with the W.

 

The offense has been just too inept. They rightfully have no faith in Kyle Allen and it makes it easy for the opposing defense.

 

This is the most conservative offense in Houston history. Ugh. More defense.

 

On the bright side, this is a good warm up for watching the Texans play, all defense no offense.

 

Really disappointing effort by the offense tonight. Defense has saved their asses.

 

Win! ... but it wasn't pretty or fun. The offense really only put up 10 lousy points, and showed no confidence or creativity. The defense won the game, which is enough for us to sleep well tonight.
