Soooooo.... CP3 is the rain bringer of epic proportions.... as opposed to James who just likes to 'make it rain' at Treasures....

If we hadn't traded for Kate Upton last night you'd probably be getting more flack for this. There are ppl dead in their homes as we speak and the city suffered catastrophic property damage, this will never be anything to joke about

while I am sympathetic to your point and have myself found it extremely difficult to post anything on this forum over the past week or so, there is a long and veritable tradition that sees "gallows humor" as a legitimate response to tragedy and suffering. Such humor is a subtle thing, I fully acknowledge, but people cope in different ways . . . and maybe we should all try and be just a bit more understanding of how everyone else is dealing with the events of the past couple of weeks

It's a joke about Chris Paul being a lighting rod for storms after acquiring him

Yeah I hear you and I was going say "too soon" but I can't see in the future when I would find it comical to deduce that Chris Paul is the cause of two of the worst natural disasters in the last twelve year. I love comedy, I just watched def jam 25, I think Jerod Carmichael is funny, this gallow bullshit isn't funny. I think my response would've been more malleable if the joke had even a modicum of humor, it does not. Its like if your girlfriend got raped in a ford truck and the first time the two of you see a ford truck you say "hey babe, be careful you know what happens in ford trucks". How much laughter do you think that would furnish?

I see that Detroit gifted a starting pitcher to Houston amidst this flooding crisis. I understand New York hasn't made their donation yet.

Yeah, the pure coincidence of NOLA drafting Paul in 2005, traded to LA in 2012 and Rockets in 2017 is like reminding your gf that she got raped in a Ford truck. o_O

You're just being self-righteous and you know it.

I guess you wouldn't like the joke I tell of getting married....(true story)
    • First date was Allison, canceled last second
    • Second date was the Saturday after 9/11 ... canceled last second
    • Finally we get married in Oct, and on our honeymoon, the first day out of our bedroom, I walk down for a paper...."ANTHRAX"
    • marriage was doomed from the start.

You don't like that joke do you, because ppl died.

I'm not even sure what the **** you're talking about. Your life sounds interesting, you should probably designate significant events to foreign soil or something. As for my self righteous humor:

Q: What did the Hurricane Harvey say to Texas?
A: I have my eye on you.
Q: What did the hurricane say to the coconut palm tree?
A: Hold on to your nuts, this is no ordinary blow job!
    Q: How do hurricane's see?
    A: With one eye.
Q: Why did former FEMA director Michael Brown criticized Obama for "responding to Hurricane Sandy too quickly?
A: Because women don't like premature evacuation.
Q: What are hurricanes with a central dense overcast over the eye called?
    A: Hurricanes with cataracts.

Louis CK says ****** on stage every single week and has never been boycotted because some of his **** is funny. What you posted was in poor taste homie, just accept it

I wonder if your intention was to say that CP3 will make it rain here in Houston.
