Sure. There are arguments to made for Gary Pettis being fine, or the Astros being a good baserunning team, or standing pat at the trade deadline outside of a starting pitcher with an ERA of 5.88 being made into a left handed specialist, or any number of things. All of those arguments don't mean as much as how the team is playing right now and have played for the last month.
Jeff Banister would crush Hinch in a steel cage match. He's out there yelling and threatening umps between innings for no apparent reason.
People tend to focus on the bad things and not really remember the good things. That's all I was saying. I'm not sure what the rest of that was all about.
