Admittedly I could ignore RL but the only reason I don't is because he is not alone in his despicable views and misinformation. There are a legion of idiots just like him in America and I feel compelled to be aware of what they think. There are people like RL out there and it's better to be exposed to them online than in real life. If I see the warning signs of RL type thinking in real life I know immediately to keep my distance from that person.

The driver's best hope is mental illness defense or saying his foot slipped, but there were clearly a big bunch of vulnerable people in front of his car.
