dennis scott was on some nbatv show this week (gametime?) claiming that cp3 won't be able to knock down catch-and-shoot 3's at a higher volume, and only has a good percentage because he never shot many before
Is Harden really deadly off the ball? He probably could be, but has he shown that in his career? Maybe some with OKC when coming off the bench. But he's not like Tmac was early in his time with us, where he would run off screens for that 17 foot fade away.
That's a fair guess, but Harden will now get more catch-and-shoot opportunities via CP3 playmaking, likely increasing his 3pt efficiency. Just another guess, like Scott's.
Who? I saw Milos Teodosic at the bottom of the list with 1 vote. What cracked me up was that Melo received 3 votes even though he hasn't been traded yet.
I don't expect harden to run around screens for mid range shots that's just not our offense but i do think we'll see him cut more to the hoop like he did in okc and his first year in houston. I also think he'll just get a lot more spot up threes and I expect him to shoot 39-40% on those if not higher which is fantastic since Harden is going to be doing so much other stuff with the ball. Cp3 I agree with Scott prob won't shoot 59% on catch and shoot 3s like Last year that's better than curry and klay but I don't doubt he'll shoot oger 40% overall on three and is hovering close to 50% on spot up threes even with the volume. Cp3 is a great shooter he does not get enough credit for that. The rockets were winning at the same clip as golden state last year when Gordon was shooting 40% from three and getting 20 ppg looking like a boarderline allstar. Cp3 will be able to sustain that level of play but better and obviously the great playmaking. Rockets will be very very deadly it just will come down to rebounding against golden state everything else will be just fine including the defense.
Dan Tony , Harden, Paul can make it work! This could be the best backcourt ever. Which NBA team had 2 guards better than Chris Paul?
I think it's Howard. Who probably got most negative votes. I saw his picture on that "Buyers remorse" article. Didn't read
