Watson very impressive... still needs to work on the deep ball but love his poise.

I've tried to temper my expectations the whole game.

    I've seen enough.

This kid will start, at the latest, coming out of the bye week. He's too good not to. Too naturally talented. The only thing holding him back is his grasp of the offense.

Call it a knee jerk all you want. Let the nay sayers say nays. Deshaun Watson is the real deal.

Tom Savage is on the phone with Tony Romo consulting about the depression issue of being a backup QB.

I would rather have an offensive coach that can lead to a competent offense being on the field to go along with that stellar defense that RAC provides rather than having an offensive coach riding RAC's coattails. You know, then you can get even more just winz

Biggest thing I'm impressed with is Watson's poise. Encouraging.

I feel like a Texans' QB has never made an audible in the history of the franchise...until Watson

Well, It's only because he's got a GREAT offensive line. Or something like that. :D

When he made the audible blitz pickup in his first drive I thought "Wait...they can do that?"

If O'Brien starts Tom Savage it's a slap in the face to this fanbase

While I agree with you, he also has that "it" factor. Having said that, he's playing against guys he dominated in college.

He needs to play with the starters. Savage shouldn't even be in consideration at this point. He holds the ball way to long, isn't mobile and is a sack away from being out the rest of the year.

Garrett Gilbert is a professional football player? Huh.
