You guys know what my friend knows. He doesn't know all the details since its way above his pay grade but he did hear his info from a higher up.
Why is someone this new allowed to start a thread like this with absolutely nothing of substance/details? This Melo saga has turned this forum into a bigger **** show than when all the Lin fans invaded. I guess at the end of the day, now that ads are on the site, its all about those clicks.
24 years old. 24. Like the TV show. Makes all the difference. Anyway, after awhile you sort of get numb to all this. It's possible that someone close to a team (an exec, whomever) relayed so-and-so information, but through what filters did the information already pass? Was someone trolling him? Hell, my brother-in-law had a source on the Kings back in the day who told me Webber wasn't even thinking of joining the Rockets as a free agent. Thankfully no one on this site questioned the veracity of the meeting ("I call b.s.!"), just thought Webber could change his mind. These days, so many trolls abound that even if a legitimate source appeared, you have to greet him with healthy skepticism. Me? After the Burt Steele crap, which made me want to believe even though I knew better, I'm resigned to the fact that the trade will occur when some player is eligible to be traded or the new NY GM realizes he won't get Capela or whomever. And yet I'll still come back to the website in the meantime, knowing it's probably not good for me, like those crackers I snack on at work and wonder, "Why isn't my waistline shrinking despite all the walking I do?"
