I fully agree that it's terrible for the family and leaves a hole in their hearts, but again, in many severe cases of depression, these people don't see any positive outcome and there's no alternative in their disease-riddled minds. I feel like it's wrong to attack someone's actions when they are suffering from a disease and not having full control of their brain.
Pretty sad to see a thread on suicide and people are making the very same hate-/hurtful comments that can drive people to those decisions. Society is f***ed up and it's shocking to see how little people consider what their actions can cause.
Their new album one more light that came out in may was heavily influenced by his drug addiction. From one addict whose done some time in rehab this is heartbreaking Hybrid Theory is the number selling album of the 21st century and only 1 of 6 bands to ever have had 7 number 1 albums RIP
Taking narcotics for most people is like driving a semi through a bike line for just as long. My condolences to his family
You just never know what goes on in someone's private life. Please call the sucicide hotline if you have problems like this; they are here to help. Suicidal thoughts and depression are real. Sorry to get emotional
Some of these comments are cringe worthy. People who troll on a death thread are a special kind of something. RIP dude
I get it. You're trying to be cool and edgy here. Just thought that of all people you would understand that a man died leaving his family and loved ones behind through an act triggered by the ultimate form of depression, regardless of what you think of the band's music.
Hybrid Theory was one of my favorite albums growing up. Loved them for it. Knowing how tortured Chester's life was would give most people a different view of that album. I hope the guy found peace. I feel for his kids, man. That sucks.
Say what you will about Linkin Park but it's fact that the band helped out a lot of depressed teens, probably saved a few too. I guess they had someone to relate to.
