Bench is now significantly more well rounded than it was last season. Can realistically go 10 deep with high quality rotation players.
My two cents here. This was an outstanding signing in my opinion. This is another glue guy that statistics cannot define what he means to winning. Been a fan of his for a long time. Will be outstanding defensively, especially on fours. Personally, I think at this respective stage of each man's career, at this point in time Luc is a better player than Ariza is. There's no question in my mind he's a better defender at the 4 than Ariza or anybody else we have on the roster. Just a great, great get.
true but I think he expanded the bench a bit in the regular season but he tighten up during the playoffs. in the playoffs even if he tightens up the bench, at least he'll have a lot of options base on matchups
i was impressed with how many minutes he played last year (23 a game); and you don't get those minutes on a team like the Clips if you aren't really, really good. Wonder how many other FA's played 20 minutes or more last year on a good team, that are signing for the min. I bet very few, if none.
Guards - Harden/CP3/Taylor/Gordon Wings - Ariza/Tucker/LRMbM/Oliver/Anderson Post - Capella/Nene/Black Should always have 2 guards and 2 wings with 1 post player on the floor with occasional 3 guard or 3 wing lineups when we go big or small. There are some VERY creative and versatile lineup possibilities there...
People are jerking off to this signing and there is a strong possibility he doesn't even make the team lol
huh? well that's false lol there's a reason why the rockets are loading up on defenders with length that can defend multiple positions. he will be with this team
