He's an NBA 6'10 and he's got long ass ****ing arms. Look at him he's ****ing scratching his knees standing up!!...With Black locked up its a moot point to continue to fawn over his skills and measurements any longer
I know I read that Tarik Black was 6'10 but Draftexpress lists him at 6'8. Robinson is about 6'8 too. Now they both have great wingspans, but Black is not 6'10. http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Tarik-Black-5711/ ©DraftExpress
Thomas Robinson is just under 6'8 in real life without shoes, and just under 6'9 in shoes, that his real NBA height - 6'9. He's not 6'7, nor 6'10 (in NBA terms). I don't think 6'9 in undersized for a PF, that being said Robinson has no jumper, therefor he would be limited to playing only at center with the Rockets. We don't need anymore centers, we have Capela, Nene and Black, that's a packed 3 man center rotation. We could use a vet PF, but to play PF in the Rockets system the players have to have some range on their shot. Robinson just wouldn't fit. Perhaps someone like Humphries, Bass, or Lee who all have good mid range games that would space the floor some, a 3PT shooting vet 4 would be even better but the pickings are pretty slim.
how would Mo Speights cost? His midrange game is money and he's respectable from 3 at 36%. I remember he had good chemistry with CP3 on the Clips.
So how many vet min players can we sign now? 1 or 2? I'm assuming we will have Qi, Williams, Bobby, and Taylor under contract. That leaves 2 spots, I think, but Oliver would make it 1.
Unfortunately so much is waiting on Carmelo. The NGs need to be let go or traded to make room for new signees.
Can't we just sign Bobby Brown as the most expensive towel boy in NBA history at $1m per year and we still let him dress up and sit on the bench? Just to avoid having him take up a roster spot.
I think he's actually decently good just has not got his shot Last two games of season he was impressive
