    I'm not sure about that dude. Melo could be pretty damn cancerous next year on that team. it will dominate their entire season and stunt development of porzingod.

    Also we might not want him anymore at the deadline. You never know. what if we are killing it and look good with anderson swishing 3s and melo is disengaged, pissed off, quitting on his team, and super cancerous in a melo drama in new york

    He'll either become the GM that wants to prove himself by asking for the farm or he'll realize he doesn't have leverage and befriends one of the savviest GMs in the league. If Carmelo said he's coming to Houston whether or not it's in a year or today then we absolutely have leverage. Seems like that may be the case. He'll want to facilitate trade quickly so he can work on filling out the current team while not having a disgruntled employee on the payroll.

    Not true trading him frees up cap space and they can pursue a player like Simmons. Keeping him is only going to lower his value cuz he has no trade clause. Rockets would rather give up more now to have him build chemistry the whole season. What if Lebron or CP3 get hurt and neither the Rockets or Cavs contend. They stuck with Melo.

    F both Fraudriguez and Potato...said that Melo to Houston was a done deal ages ago but couldn't even confirm who the 3rd team was and had no idea who was the 4th team

    i guess it just depends on the offer the knicks are staring at right now. if its not good enough, it's a fair argument that waiting might be the best call.

    Sounds like Perry came in, and said let's play a little hardball and see if he budges. We have all off-season. Float out the idea we will keep him this year. (yeah right)

    Feels extremely like a leverage play. Not entirely a dumb one. Maybe it puts a little pressure on Morey to ante up just enough or Morey stands firm and is like, Nah fam. Take it or leave it.

    It is on Melo's hand. If he wants out of NY, it is his call. Either he can forced the trade, or play as a disgruntled player, but happy staying with his kid. I'd be surprised if he chooses to stay with Knicks.

    NEw GM (from Sacremento LOLOL) comes in and wants to win over the fans so plays hard ball. It's all to get more or at least try

    NYK will forever be a shitty franchise. Which team hires the GM of another shitty franchise - Only Knickers

    He won't have any trade value next off season because he will exercise his early termination. Ramona needs to push the plate away from her 4th chin and stop taking whatever MSG tells her as gospel truth.
