I think the Celtics are going to be in prime position to be the number 1 team in the east for a few years if Lebron does leave Cleveland next year. It's crazy how much lack of talent there is in the East.
The Cavs are the same and would be favored but you have to play the games. I'm not sure the Cavs would crush them because I'm not willing to assume the Cavs will be as dominant. If he's affordable, love to have Olynik. Don't want Smart.
Celtics can whatever since they're in the east. Just glad the Jazz is officially mediocre now and will probably be riding the mediocrity treadmill for a while.
I woulda preferred getting him to george or melo. He is a winner who is money in 4th quarters and is a great locker room guy.He is absolutely worth 32 mil in todays nba and a guy teams would love to have as their 2nd or 3rd star IMO
Welcome to my class on how to use logic - for all ages! A. Were the Celtics arguably the best team in the league last year? - No B. Did the Celtics beat Gordon Hayward out of the playoffs in game 7 last year? - No C. Does Hayward's move to Boston dramatically tip the scales of parity in the conference? - No OK - we've proven that the situation is not the same. Name calling not necessary, no fee necessary. Certificate of achievement available below:
Worked out perfectly! Hayward broke their hearts once, gave them false hope and then broke their hearts again lmao!!!
In a vacuum I'd say Hayward but honestly the answer depends on your team. Hayward can create more offense for himself and others, but klay is an absolute monster as a shooter. For the rockets I'd actually take klay over Hayward even though I think Hayward is a better all around player
I agree we had no way to get him. I'm just saying that's how good I think he is. Definitely more valuable than george or melo at this point IMO.
I agree would have definitely preferred him to every player available. A big three of harden/Paul/Hayward would have been too legit.
