It's absolutely an advantage especially if we get Melo too.

Uhh, the previous poster was referring to us having advantage as suitors to Melo because Lebron is not committed after this year.

Of course, getting Melo is the advantage...

Apologies, especially for any sort of offensive sentiment. Late night fatigue. Deleted.

TMZ did it first, but I should have let that one go. My bad. I messed up...well, he messed up, and so did she, but it's not my business.

    I apologize.

CP3 hasn't been sourced saying he won't commit to resigning...Lebron has been.

I've seen a lot of praise for the "sacrifice" CP3 made by opting in....not sure thats really true. CP3 will get paid $26 million this year and then could sign a $200+ million 5 year contract next summer, which he's eligible to sign since he would still be under 38 in the last year. he's getting the $200+ million deal either way....the difference is between the $26 million he's making this year vs the contract he would have signed after he became a free agent at age 37. Also, Texas no state income tax vs. California income taxes. Don't be fooled....from a strictly salary perspective, CP3 is better off financially after the trade.

Also, the Rockets have Harden on at least a 2 year deal, with the possibility he accepts an extension.

Houston is a much more stable place to work in right now than Cleveland. We have a top notch GM...they just fired theirs. We have a star player committed to the organization...Cleveland is terrified Lebron will leave for the Lakers.

I don't know about that, but Morey has wanted Mel here for awhile. I think MDA is willing to move on and find a way to win in Houston.

MDA wasn't a bad coach in NY....NY was a bad team to coach for anyone. When your season is highlighted by Jeremy Lin, I don't even....yeah...

I guess that was a great moment for all of the YMCA ballers of the world. Jeremy went on an epic streak that gave rec league legends the feeling that they, too, could average triple doubles and call themselves names like "Bobsanity" and wear a a fauxhawk.

Really, I think it comes down to MDA knowing that James needs help and multiple threats on the floor. A combo of James/ CP/Melo is pretty interesting and tough to guard. Even Love in that mix would be amazing. Then, you keep some of our shooters, and you have a team that can compete with those asshats in the Bay.

I just get a bad feeling Cavs will get Melo, without giving up Love.

They have the contracts to do it, and it makes a lot of sense for both teams. Shumpert/Frye/Jefferson and Felder for Anthony is a financially legal trade. No bad contracts for NYK, all easily movable pieces to a 3rd team (unlike Anderson with Hou).

Trading Anderson and getting back Love is a lateral move. We already have a white boy that disappears in the playoffs. Melo or ride with Anderson
