$8 million per year... there is your MLE. Now they pull the trigger on the Shumpert deal and they see if they can find a way to patch things up with Nene.
Love the signing! Always wanted PJ here! Tough, good corner 3 shooter, enforcer, defensive minded, hustle guy, brings toughness. Great backup for Trevor and can play some small ball 4. 4/32 and might be structured like Ariza's deal. Great signing!!! Gordon - Tucker - Nene (pls). The bench is taking shape. Just need a good back up 4 that can play so 5
Good guy to play small ball 4. Tough defender and a general thorn in the opponents side. He's more of a Beverley replacement than anything else, from an attitude and presence perspective. Next up is the big men. We have to bring back Nene, and I think upgrading Ryan Anderson would be nice.
nene was going to be signed non bird right max. Wasnt touching the MLE. Nene market will form. He will be back
Decent player but that's a lot for a 32 year old hustler. Yeah, we are not even going to challenge Warriors in a seven game series the way things are going. Will win one game against them at best.
It's inflation. People used to be able to buy a loaf of bread for 5 cents. Now they gotta buy it for a 1.99. doesn't mean we are dumber because we are paying more. Just means the situation has changed.
Surprised by the mixed reaction to the news. I thought Clutchfans has been wanting this dude for ages. I like it. another tough defender that is capable of making a shot. If this was last year, you guys would have been swinging from the roof excited.
Its about building a team. We have more flexibility for next year. No one is worried about this year. You are hoping to remain relevant and be in the race to add a 3rd star next offseason
The pessimism is unbelievable. Very happy with this signing. Perfect fit. Very possible he retires before the contract is over.
What the hell is wrong with you? Are you like this every offseason? This is a great deal. The fourth year might be a bit much, but this guy is all defense and hustle. Don't we need that?
