Cheap 3 and D guys aren't easy to find and I have some trust in the system. If it's rumored that we really want someone than I often think MDA and Morey might know more than I do.

The D might get lost on Swaggy P. Streaky Shooter at best.

I almost threw up when I saw Nick Youngs advanced defensive stats, they are the most horrific defensive stats I've ever seen. Ever.

In the last years he has been known to party, hit on girls, break up with Iggy, I doubt he has time to play Defense. Lelz.

I think that Wiggins has had the worst defensive stats for a wing this year.
Also Young at the beggining of the year improved a lot his defence. Then tanking happened, snitching happened etc etc.
I think he would be an amazing get if we get him for cheap. (like 3-4 mil).

In my opinion we should go with a Wilson Chandler of Afflalo type of player, may cost more but a solid, allround potential guy.

Alright, he cost a lil too much.

Jared Dudley would be cool as well.

why is everybody saying Swaggy P is cheap?? Isn't he opted out for more money (instead of contenders)??

If the Rockets can find a team to dump Ryan Anderson's huge contract, they can replace the 13.5 points per game with former Rockets forward Michael Beasley. Beasley has a good midrange shot.

I would rather have Beasley back than Carmelo Anthony causing any issues with Mike D'Antoni or in the locker room.

    Any combo of:

    Gallo
    James Johnson
    Nick Young
    Omri Caspi

I feel would be a great get......

Afflalo got waived and has always been a decent player but something has always seemed off or odd about him..... it's like he doesn't have the right personality to coexist with other players... doesn't ever seem to be liked..... you never hear another NBA player saying things like "that's a guy I enjoyed playing with". Just weird to me... just a weird vibe....

Ask Ray Allen. Let him camp and shoot 3s, no defense needed. He will not ask for FA-type salary.

The primary goal after adding that third star (assuming a fourth isn't on the way), should be keeping Nene in Houston. After that, I think they need to target guys who can fill holes in their rotation and bring something they don't already have. Two guys jump out at me: PJ Tucker and Mo Speights.

The Rockets still need one more 3 and D wing, and I think Tucker brings toughness that Houston lacks now that Beverley is gone. Mo would provide a rare luxury that D'Antoni would absolutely covet: a stretch 5. Plus, he has shown he can step up in big moments in the playoffs.

Adding those guys to a bench with Gordon and Nene would give them an excellent 9-10 man rotation.

I'll put my pride on the line. Flame me, but this comes from my trusted Ears who whisper to me from AZ where I coach to the US:

    When Ry is cleared, etc...

    Look for Brandon Jennings
Also, Darren Collison is being mentioned.

    Quality backup guards.

I'm gonna miss Bev and SweetLou. I would have taken him over EGO at some points.
